Access
EPICS 2017 meeting will be held at Research Reactor Institute, Kyoto University, located very close to Kansai International Airport. The closest station to KURRI is JR Kumatori station, with approximately 10 minutes ride of bus or taxi. General information regarding the access to KURRI is available here.

From JR Kumatori station to KURRI
You need to take a local bus or a taxi (10 minutes, approximately1000 yen) to get to KURRI. A pdf file for the detail instructions how to use local bus is available from the link below.
To JR Kumatori station
- From Kansai International Airport
- Take JR line (NOT NANKAI Line) from Kansai Airport station. All rapid-service trains from Kansai Airport stop at Kumatori station. Rapid-service trains are available every 15 minutes in the daytime. Kumatori station is three stops away from Kansai Airport.
- From Osaka Station
- Take "Kansai Airport Rapid Service" available every 15 minutes from platfrom 1 at Osaka station, and you will get to Kumatori station in one hour.
- From Shin Osaka
- Shin Osaka is only one stop away from Osaka station. Any trains departing from the platform 15 or 16 will stop at Osaka station. Once you arrive at Osaka station, follow the instructions from Osaka station.
- From Tokyo
- Take Shinkansen trains to Shin Osaka, or take a flight to Kansai International Airport from Haneda or Narita (13 flights per day from Haneda, 10 flights per day from Narita).
