ACCOMMODATION
Participants should secure accommodation by themselves early.
The hotels close to Kyoto Station are very convenient for the access to the meeting venue.
TRAVEL GRANT
We selected five winners for Travel Grant from all of the abstract submitters.
The selection was done considering the following points.
- Younger researcher,
- Superior content of the submitted abstract, and
- Considering the country and research field.
We already noticed to the winners via e-mail.
KENT RILEY AWARD
This award will be given to the best presenter through the meeting.
We will decide the winner on the last day of the meeting.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR PRESENTERS
Oral Presentation
- Oral presentation time is 15 minutes (12 minutes for speaking and 3 minutes for questions/answers).
- A computer (Windows OS) with MS PowerPoint will be used for presentations.
Presenters are requested to bring their presentation file on a USB,
and upload it on to the preview PC at the PC Preview Center at least 30 minutes prior to their session commencing.
- Please name your presentation file as follows:
(presentation number)_(presenter name).pptx (For example, "S1-1_YoshinoriSakurai.pptx")
- If using Macintosh or video files, presenters are requested to use their own laptop.
If you bring your own laptop, ...
- Please notify the PC Preview Center at least 30 minutes prior to your session commencing.
- Ensure that your own laptop has a VGA (mini D-sub 15 pin) connector or you bring an appropriate converter.

- The assistants will help you to connect your laptop to the projector on the podium.
- In case of connection problems, bring a backup copy of your presentation on USB.
Poster Presentation
- Presenters are requested to give a short presentation of 5 minutes (3 minutes for speaking and 2 minutes for questions/answers) at their poster display during the assigned session.
- The panel size is 90 cm wide and 120 cm high.
- The poster number will be attached to the panel in the top left by the secretariat.
- Poster presenters are responsible for the pin-up and take-down of their poster before and after their assigned poster session. Pins will be provided.
Posters must be removed by Wednesday, November 15th at 12:30 PM. Posters remaining after this time will be discarded.
